The Chateau Ocean condominium project won approval at the end of 2012 from the Surfside Planning and Zoning/Design Review Board and was approved by the community’s commission in January 2013.

The Chateau Ocean condominium is being designed by the well known and award winning design firm Arquitectonica. Chateau Ocean will be 12 stories tall and will offer only 60 luxury condominium residences and penthouse homes.

This luxury condo project will be located in the 9300 block of Collins Avenue, on a prime beachfront 2.99 acre lot. The Chateau Ocean’s oceanfront location will give its future homeowners gorgeous views of the ocean and easy access to the sand and surf.

Average pricing per sq. ft. is approximately $1,300 per sq. ft. La 60 luxury condos will range in size from 3,500 to over 10,000 ². ft. with prices beginning at approximately $3 million.

According to the most recently approved proposal given to the town’s commission, the Chateau Ocean will feature such amenities as; private roof top decks with pools, multiple beachfront pools with lushly landscaped pool decks, private cabanas, lobby bar, poolside bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining areas available only for residents and their guests, 24-hour valet parking service and more amenities and features to be posted as the developer releases their plans and project details.
